Leadership
Women in Data Science & Statistics at ASU (WiDSS)
As the Executive Lead for Marketing and Strategy, I worked alongside a dedicated officer board to revitalize the Women in Data Science and Statistics (WIDSS) at ASU. We approached community building with a data-driven mindset: identifying where our members needed more support and building the infrastructure to provide it.
My role focused on connecting our student community with the professional world. By coordinating joint events with the University of Washington and bringing in industry partners like J.P. Morgan and Arizona Companies, our team helped create clear career paths for our members. I led the design of our marketing strategy and visual identity, including the launch of our first merch line and promotional items, which resulted in a increase in member engagement. For me, leadership is about empowering a team to work toward a shared vision: ensuring every member has the network and tools to succeed in an evolving field.
