Transforming complex data into actionable narratives
As a recent Data Science graduate from Arizona State University, I've always been drawn to the space where technical logic meets creative problem-solving. Graduating Summa Cum Laude with 4.0 GPA was more than a milestone, it was a commitment to mastering the tools that allow us to make sense of a noisy, data-driven world.
My Story
Building the Perspective
My interest in data started at home. I watched my father navigate his business ventures, and I found myself naturally curious about the strategy behind his decisions. That early exposure gave me a real appreciation for how science and business can work together.
Data Science gave me a way to combine my love for math and statistics with the creative challenge of solving business problems. I came into the program with zero programming experience, but I found that I absolutely loved the process of learning to code and seeing it come to life. Since then, I’ve jumped into everything from analytics to machine learning to the use of AI in daily data practices. There is something incredibly satisfying about working in a field that changes every day.
Moving from the Middle East to the United States was a huge leap. It was rare for girls from my background to study so far away, and it took a lot of discipline and perseverance to make it happen. Being here has allowed me to see exactly what I’m capable of, and I’m ready to keep pushing into new territory in AI, machine learning, and analytics.
Translating Complexity
I believe if you can’t explain a finding to someone outside the tech team, the work isn’t finished.
The Art Behind the Analysis
Numbers without a visual language get ignored. I put as much thought into how findings look as into how they're derived, choosing aesthetics, chart types, and layouts that make complex data feel intuitive. Some of my proudest work has been the slide people screenshot before I finish presenting.
Intentional Leadership
I’m at my best when I’m working with others. Whether it's presenting findings or leading a team, I’ve learned that the best ideas happen when people feel heard and supported.
